Imports and backups

  • Which file types can I import?

    Songbook PRO imports plain text, ChordPro, OnSong, OpenSong, RTF, DOC, DOCX, PDF and HTML files. Open the import screen, pick your files and the songs land in your library.

  • Can I bring my library over from another app?

    Yes. Import an OnSong, LyricsMaster or Songbook PRO backup file and your songs come across in one step. Run the duplicate check afterward to tidy up any repeats.

  • How do I back up my library?

    Use the backup option in the app to save your whole library to a file. Keep a copy somewhere safe, such as cloud storage or your computer.

  • How do I restore a backup on a new device?

    Install Songbook PRO on the new device, choose restore, and select your backup file. Your songs, setlists and settings return as they were.
